ENHANCED LOGIN SECURITY - Internet Banking User Instructions

Once a customer logs into Internet Banking, they will be prompted to enroll their computer in the Enhanced Login Security feature.
The rest of this document will prepare you with what needs to be completed to enroll or un-enroll a computer or to gain temporary access.
What Steps a User will need to complete to ENROLL A COMPUTER.
Step 1: LOG IN TO INTERNET BANKING
Step 2: CHOOSE USER OPTIONS and locate the ENHANCED LOGIN SECURITY OPTION

Step 3: CHOOSE "ADD ADDITIONAL SECURITY PROTECTION TO THIS COMPUTER (RECOMMENDED for the computer that will be used regularly to sign onto Internet Banking, use the Temporary Access Option Described below to access Internet Banking for a computer that will only be used intermittently or never again).

What steps the customer will need to take to UN-ENROLL A COMPUTER.
This option is available to customers who may no longer be logging in regularly to Internet Banking from a specific computer.
STEP 1: LOGIN TO INTERNET BANKING
STEP 2: CHOOSE USER OPTIONS and locate the ENHANCED LOGIN SECURITY OPTION.

Step 3: CHOOSE "REMOVE ADDITIONAL SECURITY PROTECTION TO THIS COMPUTER". Choosing this option will not un-enroll the user from the MFA program and the system will continue to request the answer to your challenge question each time he/she attempts to log into Internet Banking from an unenrolled computer.

What steps the customer will need to take to TEMPORARY ACCESS Internet Banking from a computer that may only be used once or occassionally to access Internet Banking.

This option is available to customers who are logging in from an unidentified computer, have been un-enrolled from Enhanced Login Security, or are accessing Internet Banking from a different web browser on their regular computer (ex. Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla).
STEP 1: ANSWER THE CHALLENGE QUESTIONS DISPLAYED AND PRESS “CONTINUE”
If your answer is correct, you will be redirected to your Internet Banking online account.
If no, you will be instructed to call a First United Bank representative to assist you.
